Pass فعل له عدة معاني ولكن اشهرها واهمها تجاوز او عبر ولكن الفعل Pass تصبح
له عدة معاني اخرى عند استعماله كمصطلح حيث يدمج الفعل Pass مع حروف الجر
او الظروف فيعطي معاني مختلفة مقارنه بكونه كلمة واحدة وهذه قائمة بأهم مصطلحات
الفعل Pass
Pass around = Give out to everybody there يوزع
The teacher passed the handout around.
وزع المعلم النشرة
Pass as = Be believed to be something يعتقد ان يكون
Although not qualified, he managed to pass as a doctor for years.
بالرغم من كونه غير مؤهل الا انه استطاع ان يكون طبيب لسنوات
Pass by = Go past without stopping يمر بالصدفة او مارا فحسب
I was just passing by when I saw the accident. كنت ماراً بالصدفة
عندما رأيت الحادث
Pass by = Visit briefly زيارة سريعة
I was passing by her house the other day when I heard about it.

Pass off = Convince something that something is real
يقتنع بان هذا الشيئ حقيقي
I managed to pass off the fake money in the market.
تمكنت من تمرير النقود المزيفة في السوق
Pass off = Happen in a certain way مرت اي بمعني عبرت
The demonstration passed off peacefully.
مرت المظاهرة بسلام
Pass on = Give a message to someone يوصل او يعطي
I'll pass the message on when she gets here.
سوف اعطيها الرسالة عندما تصل هي الى هنا
Pass on = Die يموت
Her husband passed on last year.
مات زوجها السنة الماضية
Pass out = Faint, lose consciousness يفقد الوعي
He got so drunk that he passed out.
سكر كثيراً حتى أغمي عليه
Pass over = Ignore someone and give a job, reward, etc, to someone more junior

عن الملكية او المسؤولية لشخص ما
